It Will Be A Short Post Today,

as I will be leaving when Diana goes to work to go to Bromley,

back to Wednesday, I arrived at the nursing home where Duncan stays, he was wide awake and as he prefers it in his room, we chatted away about the visit of Diana and Kai to the tulip farm in Kings Lynn, as well as other upcoming days out, later this month we will be going to Ramsgate for a nights stay to visit the 'little ships' as they are called, we visited them once before when they were in London, the post is here, as Duncan's lunch arrived we said our farewells,

outside the day was mixed, bright sunshine one moment, the next a bit chilly and cloudy,

arriving home I played with a few photographs,

firstly a couple of orchids, the top one photographed at Kew Gardens, the second at a orchid nursery we visited a coupe of years ago,

then to Thailand for this lady when Diana's family stayed with us when we lived in Thailand, and we went to the floating market, the market is call the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market

just out of interest this is the original photograph out of the camera, it was soon time for my meal, and then I was out to the Beckenham Photographic Society, this evening it was the AGM so new officials were chosen, after a break for tea and biscuits the years prizes were awarded, and for the second time at the club you could have knocked me over with a feather, part way through the prize giving my name was called! I had won the Caithness Bowl for three photographs I had entered titled Water Lilies, here they are:

and this is the bowl,

and certificate, after saying goodbye to everyone I was off to pick up Diana from work, arriving home feet up for a coffee for Diana, a celebratory spiced rum for myself, Diana was then off to bed, I stayed up for a Bangers & Cash and a Have I Got More News For You before I too was off to bed.
