I Have Been So Busy In The Shop,

as we wind down the business,

I did not post yesterday as I had to meet the man with a skip at the shop very early in the morning, for the past 2 days I have been removing the cladding from the banks of aquariums in the shop,

it takes an age as so many of the screws are rusted in, my fingers, wrists, arms and back are so sore with all of the unusual maneuvering of screw drivers, which I have not done for years,

whilst Graham and Carl do the heavy work,

the quarantine room now strip of stands and aquariums, just the under tank reservoirs to be cut up into manageable parts,

the plastic cladding, now starting to build up,

with more to come, the second day was not without incident, I had a Whoops! moment,

where is a bucket when you need one?

once the cladding is striped off, the aquarium are drained of water,

and Carl removes the gravel,

today (Friday) the first skip arrived,

and was loaded by Graham and Carl,

the first to go, another skip will be here on Tuesday, over the weekend we will have our finale day on Saturday, closing for good at 5.00 in the afternoon, a sad day, so many memories of working in the shop and meeting customers, next week will be just as busy as we move everything out of the premises so that the new owner can take possession and start to redevelop the shop and the flats above, arriving home on Friday night Diana was at work, so for myself, my evening meal before grabbing a few spiced rums as I settled down to relax and watch a film or two before Diana returned home from work, after a chat and a coffee we were off to bed.
