I Had Never Thought Of Cross Stitching,

being used as street art, until now,

across Madrid set designer and artist Raquel Rodrigo brings cross-stitch embroidery to building facades,

I should perhaps say this is not the micro cross stitching that so many artists have painted ladies performing,

this cross stitching is on a larger scale, using thick string wrapped on wire mesh before each is unrolled and affixed to a surface,

You can see much more here, and I guess unlike many other forms of street art it can just be rolled up and positioned in a new location in no time.
