for an old empty tin can?
using it for artists brushes and pencils, is about the best use I could come up with,
or perhaps a vase for flowers, but if the tin cans were say £100 each would you still use them this way?
thinking about it, they also make good flower pots, but what if say the tin cans were not £100 each but a huge £1,000, each would you still use them this way?
and here is the thing, what do you do with a £1,000 empty tin can, as that is what the one at the top of these three pictures sells for! the description of this can goes:
The Everyday Objects collection transforms utilitarian items
into handcrafted works of art. A classic tin can is upgraded in sterling silver
and shining vermeil.
Sterling silver
and vermeil with Tiffany Blue® enamel accent
4.5" high
Instantly
recognisable, the signature Tiffany Blue® hue of this design’s enamel accent
has been as iconic as the brand itself since its founding in 1837.
so if you receive an empty tin can as a Christmas present before throwing it away thinking it was a practical joke, look for the hallmark, just in case!
