In Another Case Of Lunatics Running The Asylum,

the British taxpayers, (and yes I am one of them) have paid, seven prisoners at a jail £50,000 of taxpayers’ cash through compensation payouts in a year, all the payouts were at HMP Winchester, Hants. One prisoner claimed £14,250 after being assaulted by a fellow con. Other claims included £6,623 for a “slip, trip or fall”, £5,000 for a sports injury and £9,000 for a mysterious “miscellaneous injury”. I am sorry but in my opinion none of these payments should have been made, however, Martin Barnes, of the charity DrugScope, said prisoners were entitled to “the same standard of health care as in the community”. as far as I am concerned these people should be given the same mercy and compassion they showed their victims.
