As This Is A Large Post,

I have split it into two,

we started at Soi Bukaow market,

Diana was looking for some fresh fruit,

whilst I went to look at the flowers, well cacti, normally there are hundreds of orchids here,

but today none,

I thought these were a bit strange, they have been graftyed, the orange bits on the top need the green bits on the bottom as the orange parts canot photosynthesize,

not a orchid in sight,

then Diana came back with the shopping,
a kilo of lychees,

next stop Friendship, for a couple of things,

then home feet up for the llast day of Diamond Jubiliee celebrations, as some of the Royal Family malke their way to St. Pauls Catherdral,

there will be a Royal fanfare outside the building,

meanwhile The Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod (shorten to Black Rod), was organising a luncen fit for a Queen,
members of the Royal Family are passing through The Mall,

in two Roll-Royces,

The Mall is thronged with well wishers,

as the calacade passes through the city,

then the Queen leaves the Palace,

just so you know for occasions such as this the Queen for the last 10 years at least always travels in a Bentley,
the Queens Lady-in-Waiting traverling with her,
the Queen herself,

outside St Paul's everyone is getting ready for the Queens arrival,

inside most of the guests have already arrived,
a fanfare,

hearlds the Queens arrival,

She is led up the steps by the Lord Mayor of the City London,
to be greeted by another fanfare,

as usual She seems genuinly delighted by what is happeneing,
as She has a chat with Her son,
all assembled the ceromony begins,

wtith hyms then speches,

it was at this point we made a dash for the market,

fresh prawns for a cocktail,

the fish next door were even fresher as they jumped off the table!
a view from the bussiness side of the stalls,

a few limes for Friday night,

pinapple for later,
and some melon,

back on to the bike for the dash home,

as the Queen leaves St Paul's a fanfare inside,
and another outside,

the Queen makes Her way to the car,
and is escorted to Mansion House,

the Lord Mayor of the City of London, the Court of Alderman and the Court of Common Council hosted a reception at the Mansion House for The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh, for around 250 guests,
other Members of the Royal Family attended a reception at the Guildhall, given by the City of London, the guests were the full congregation of the St Paul’s Cathedral Service,

the Diamond Jubilee Lunch was given for The Queen by the Livery,

the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain performed a programme of music at the lunch, at the end of the lunch the Lord Speaker proposed a toast to The Queen, and the National Anthem was played, it is at this point I finish this post, if you want to see more just scroll down or hit the 'older posts' button.
