First Thing And We Were Off To The Hospital,

the wound is healing quiet nicely by all accounts,

but on the way there and back we kept encountering the occasional few drops of rain,

but luckily we made it back before the heavens opened,

but it did leave us with a bit of a dilemma, Mr. Tony said he would kindly call round to give us a lift to the restaurant, the problem being the Robin's Nest where we were going to eat Sunday lunch at was quite a way from the car park, but we only had one umbrella in the house,

the other was in the truck, so Diana dressed me in a yellow rain cape and off I went to retrieve the second umbrella, it could have been worse I suppose, it could have been one of the pink capes we have,

the good news was that by the time we arrived,

the rain had all but stopped,

as usual we all went for the 249 baht all you can eat carvery, but there is also a full menu to chose from,

the selection from the carvery means you are spoilt for choice,

all set and ready to go,

my selection, gammon ham, sausages wrapped in bacon, fried onions, roast chicken and cottage pie with mixed vegetables filled me up,

Mr. Tony had similar as did Diana, but she loves the gravy here, so she had lots of it,

 'Cheers!',

after we had finished our main courses and after a long break it was time for a selection of ice creams,

 which we all enjoyed,

it was then time for one of Mr. Tony's favourites, a blueberry shake, speaking of favourites as we were chatting in the background I heard a song that was one of my favourites many years ago by a group called Bad Manners,

the song in question Special Brew,

and of course the vintage sounding children's favourite, Scruffy The Huffy Cuffy Tug Boat, great memories,

we finished with a coffee, then made our way home, in the evening Diana made us a few snacks as we watch a documentary about the making of The Godfather trilogy as well as some of the programs that we like so much such as Pickers and Gold Rush, we said our goodbyes to Mr. Tony, then a telephone call, Mike and Riza called round for a coffee and a chat, towards the midnight hour they left and for us as yet again we had an early start we were off to bed.
