I Popped Out In The Afternoon,

to buy some flowers,

 we are eating Sunday lunch at home,

 but in the evening,

 it was glad rags on,

 for Cherry's International buffet, all you can eat for 450 baht,

 a look at what was on offer, the salad bar,

 the soup of the day was mushroom, or tom yum goong, shrimps already added to to bowl, just add soup,

 a selection of starters,

 heated main dishes,

and carvery with a pizza station,

 sushi,

 and desserts,

 lots of desserts,

 we were meeting Karl and Mary Ann, they were flying in from Germany, having a stop over here in Thailand, then continuing their flight to the Philippines tomorrow, we had a package to deliver to one of our friends in the Philippines,

and guess what? we forgot it at home, so Diana went back to fetch it,

 one of Diana's starters,

 and one of mine,

 second starter on the way,

 eyes down and tuck in,

 I then decided on a lobster bisque soup,

 Mary Ann and Karl,

 then a lovely surprise, they had bought Diana a box of chocolates, so they will go in Diana's secret squirrel store somewhere in the refrigerator,

we chatted the night away, so much so in fact we were the last to leave the restaurant, we said our farewells and wished them both a safe trip, and we were home for a nightcap, as the midnight hour approached we were then off to bed.
