has been family owned,
you may not recognize its latest creation, the newly announced Morgan EV3, at
the Geneva International Motor Show, is the company’s first all-electric
vehicle in more than a hundred years of building cars, the whole car weighs about 1,000 lbs, and carries a 20-kWh
battery pack and a liquid-cooled 46-kW motor (that’s just a tad over 60 hp)
driving the rear wheels, which is enough to propel the EV3 to over 90 mph and
from 0 to 62 mph in under 9 seconds, all of this gives it a range of 150 miles, Morgan says that it's
aiming to keep EV3 pricing in line with the gasoline 3 Wheeler, which starts at
£25,950 (approx. US$40,000) in standard trim and £28,333 ($43,750) for the
Superdry model,
just in case the name rings a bell but you are not sure what a traditional Morgan looks like, above is the standard model,
the classic 4/4 which incidentally having been in production since 1936, the 4/4 is the longest
running production vehicle in the world, would I like one?
well I have to say yes to the petrol engined 3 wheeler, with
its V twin at the front of it, it look so much fun! and no I am not on
commision.
