Sunday Is Here Again,

and where else to go for a delicious roast Sunday lunch?

 The George of course,

the sign says it all, we have eaten there many times before, it is in Chaiyaphruek 2 Rd, if you are going away from Pattaya heading towards Sattahip on the Sukhumvit Road when you arrive at the Chaiyaphruek traffic lights turn right and the restaurant/pub is about 100 yards along the road on the left hand side,

as you enter there is a well stocked bar to the right,

 and facing you,

for the sports minded a new pool table,

 there is plenty of seating,

our hostess for the day, the ever smiling George,

I just had to take a picture of the roast pork, it was delicious as were both the beef and chicken,

but I am racing ahead of myself here, so to the starters, Mr. Tony who very kindly picked us up and Diana chose the home made pate,

for myself a prawn cocktail, there is also a soup of the day to choose from,

 next the main course,

 expertly carved,

 by George,

a good mix of everything for Diana,

and Mr. Tony,

it might not look a lot, but it was more than enough for me,

 time for desserts,

and what a treat, no simple blobs of ice cream here, the desserts were a delight,

and we just had to have a pose with some of the staff members, if you want to have one of the finest and most reasonably priced Sunday roasts, this is it at just 395 baht, and no I am not on commission, it is that the food here is so full of flavour we just have to keep coming back!

arriving home it was feet up as we watched several episodes of One Foot In The Grave, a comedy classic, we all laughed so much,

later in the evening, Diana disappeared and later came out of the kitchen,

with this feast to snack on, followed by a home made creme caramel, by now it was late so after saying our farewells and thanks to Mr. tony, we watched a couple more of One Foot In The Grave and we were then off to bed.
