Whilst Looking Through Old Books,

for a post for yesterday,

 I came across this one,

featuring a huge collection of stellated and uniform polyhedra,

 the reason for my interest,

was that at school, in of all classes it was in the class for algebra, that we were shown these shapes and indeed make some of the more simple of these,

this book was dated 1900, titled Vielecke und Vielflache: Theorie und Geschichte (Polygons and Polyhedra: Theory and History),

and was by Max Brückner, (1860–1934), a German geometer,

it still seems strange to think of algebra making these shapes, but it does.
