As Usual My Luck With Anything Electrical Ran Out,

the sound on our television was getting increasingly bad,

it is not a problem when we are watching a DVD or Blue-ray, as the sound from that goes through the speaker system, but the sound for cable and Netflix goes through the television speakers and by now it was not very good, in fact it was very bad, as to be by now worse than useless, so off to the NumChai service centre on the Sumkivitt Road,

so tomorrow the company will send a van to have our television picked up and hopefully the blown speaker replaced, whilst there we had a look around, at the new 2017 4K televisions, did they look impressive or what? as indeed did the prices!

we noticed this unusually coloured car in the car park,

everything matched, right down to the wheels,

in the evening we were off, so glad rags on,

and a motorbike taxi each to the rear of TukCom,

and this is where we were off to,

the Deli Diner, which is in the road by the side of TukCom,

we both decided on the multi choice set menu,

so we started with a lobster bisque,

 each,

for our next course that was not included in the set menu, some breaded prawns,

 which were delicious,

 on to the main course,

chicken stuffed with spinach for Diana,

 for myself,

sirloin steak with chips, it would have come with a pepper sauce but I declined the sauce,

on to desserts, a chocolate brownie for Diana,

and a real surprise, I ordered the strawberry ice cream, I expected just a scoop or two, I did not expect this,

a real treat, the multi choice set menu, soup, main course and dessert was just 299 baht for each of us, the meal in total with wine and two soft drinks for Diana plus the middle prawn course came to 1,200 baht which we both thought was very reasonable,

arriving home we put on a film we had watched before, well it was made in 1999, so we have had it for some time, Sleepy Hollow, Constable Ichabod Crane, (what a great name, Ichabod), has to find the headless horseman of Sleepy Hollow, who cuts off heads, in case you are wondering the village of Sleepy Hollow is a real place, a book entitled Sleepy Hollow is a personal reminiscence, written by Washington Irving under the pen name, Geoffrey Crayon, this article (not to be confused with The Legend of Sleepy Hollow [1819]) also written by Irving, first appeared in The Knickerbocker Magazine, in May of 1839, and with the ending of that we were off to bed.
