It Was Bound To Happen,

and it will only get worse,

lefties and others with nothing better to do, have started to troll through records of past actors and decided to ban one them, one of my childhood heroes John Wayne, the 'Duke", at his old alma mater of USC (University of Southern California) students are objecting to a celebratory exhibit of movie treasures, such as posters and correspondence from “the Duke” himself, and wait for this, the items have been on display since 2012 and nobody said a word! but an old interview given by Wayne to Playboy in 1971 has stoked the embers, the fact is although incorrect now, at the time is was his opinion which I thought he had the right to express, apparently not, free speech seems to have taken a side line, using 21st. century morals to judge 20th. century culture, photograph above John Wayne. John Wayne with Marsha Hunt in Born to the West (1937), Chris Ford is the grandson of director John Ford, with whom Wayne made some of his most well-known movies including Stagecoach (1939), regarded as his breakout film, and The Searchers (1956). For him, it’s all a matter of context, “I know John Wayne went out of his way to help all people,” he said, quoted by Variety. “I think the term [white supremacy] was used differently than what it would be now.” He added that Wayne didn’t support far right movements like the KKK, and so it has begun, I guess almost every one from that era said something that today would be offensive, if you have the time, patience and the right to be outraged in your agenda you will find it, where is McCarthy when you need him? OK different cause but you get my drift.
