1 + 1 = 2

correct?

photograph はなおでんがん/Youtube, well apparently it is not as simple as that, in their quest to find the ultimate answer to the ‘1+1’ formula, two mathematics' enthusiasts used notions from the fields of “trigonometric functions”, “infinite series”, “geometry”, “physics”, “electromagnetism” and “thermodynamics”, among others to solve how it is so, Hanao and Dengan wanted to put the same mathematical expression through all of the areas of mathematics and physics usually taught in high school and college,

and how long did it take to solve the fiendishly difficult problem? 24 hours and the calculation ended up covering the walls and floor of an entire room in one of their most intriguing projects yet, I should say that the video is a tad long at 26 minutes, but if you understand Japanese, “There are things that are unexpectedly fun to solve,” Hanao can be heard saying at one point, close to the 24-hour mark, I think I will stick to the basics, 1 + 1 = 2, that has always been good enough for me!
