Over The Years Some Children's Book Prices Have Risen So Much,

these first couple printed some time ago, but the third set published less than 25 years ago,

1928 The House at Pooh Corner by A. A. Milne, published in London by  Methuen and Co.,

this is a fine example of A A Milne's fourth 'Winnie The Pooh' instalment, and the first appearance of Tigger,

the book has the noted pen and ink drawings by E H Shepard. Milne was a prolific author and is now best-remembered for his creation of Winnie-The-Pooh and his many friends. 'The House at Pooh corner' is the second volume of stories written about Winnie the Pooh,

1902 The Tale of Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter published in London by Frederick Warne and Co.,

a first edition, one of the first three printings of Beatrix Potter's long-lasting charming tale of the young and naughty Peter Rabbit,

the first edition, early printing of this work, being one of the first three printings which were indistinguishable from one another; with 'wept big tears' to page 51, with no date to the title page, and with a singular dot to the 'o' in the title to the spine and front board, illustrated with a colour frontispiece, and thirty colour plates, it is mis-bound with the frontispiece for 'The Tale of Benjamin Bunny', rather than the original frontispiece for 'Peter Rabbit', otherwise, all plates are present,

1999-2007 The Harry Potter Series by J. K. Rowling published in London by Bloomsbury,

a set of the complete deluxe editions of the 'Harry Potter' series, the  editions published from 1999-2007. 'Goblet of Fire' signed by J. K. Rowling,

a complete seven volume set of the globally renowned 'Harry Potter' series, all the original children's covers inlaid to the front board, this deluxe edition is highly collectable, published in 1999-2007 concurrent with the releases from Prisoner of Azkaban to Deathly Hallows, 'Goblet of Fire' is a first impression, with James exiting Voldemort's wand before Lily in 'Priori Incantatem', and the prices?

as I mentioned the prices for some of these, especially the later set I find staggering, if only I had known then! all of the above available from Rooke Books.
