We Were Going To Look For Another Price Of Tickets For Diana's Next Trip To The Philippines,

a bit early for Christmas but we wanted to beat the rush!
on the way out we noticed that all of the recent rains had resulted in this flower appearing,
then to Massic Travel on Second Road the good news is that unlike Soi Post Office there is plenty of room to park nearby, the price was the same as the agents in Soi Post Office - but, a different airline, so instead of arriving at Bangkok airport at 10.30 in the evening and flying at just past midnight to arrive at 02.00 in the morning, (and the same coming back), the leave and return times were at midday, so this is the one we shall book, even the cheaper online airline Cebu Pacific was only a few hundred baht difference,
whilst in the area we decided to buy a couple of tickets for the Chinese circus, just over the road,
lots of decorated dragons in the grounds,
all the fun of the big top,
the main entrance,
there were three floats by the side of the tent,
characters from Walt Disney on this one,
I am not quiet sure about the theme behind this one, the first show was at 6.30 in the evening, which suited us fine, but it was not to be, as we neared the ticket office there was the sign, 'closed for one month',
I asked Diana if she wanted to try this one, the answer was no,
later we called in to the food stalls for our evening meal,
it was quiet crowded,
which hid from us the fact that the soup stall was not there,
so on the way back we stopped off at the food market to buy some mango's,
lots of rambutan, but no mango's,
so on to plan number two, our evening meal at the Punch & Judy,
now this looks like a good idea!
spaghetti bolognese for Diana,
the 199 baht special for me,
'Cheers!' from us both,
then home feet up for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, a children's adventure film, in the second world war the Pevensie family are evacuated out to the country, they are unaware of the adventure they will encounter, during a game of hide and seek, the youngest daughter, Lucy (Henley) discovers a wardrobe which transports her to the land of Narnia,
another couple from MI5, episode #4.8, Harry Pearce has Adam monitoring Hugo Ross who has just been released after serving a 30 year sentence for spying for the Soviet Union, Ross is an old-fashioned communist who genuinely believes in the revolution and is disgusted by what he sees in the modern Russia, can he be of use to MI5? episode #4.9, looks at the vexing question of the CIA forcibly kidnapping a UK citizen who is suspected of being a terrorist, then for us off to bed.
