Diana Enjoyed The Flowers So Much Last Week,

I just had to surprise her again,

the lilies are not open yet, but this week they will be yellow when they do,

in the evening we were meeting up with Mr. Tony and Booie at Cherry's on Third Road, it is opposite what was once the X-Cite disco,

but before going inside I just had to take a picture of this mini bike, it looked almost like a Ducati Monster but it was in fact a Honda,

as we arrived we were served with an amuse bouche, before our starters,

we all ordered different dishes but Diana went with the speciality set menu,

she started with a prawn terrine,

whilst I had the tuna with asparagus, whilst Booie selected a few Thai dishes,

one of the dishes that Booie ordered had huge prawns in it,

Diana's set menu had a soup course included,

so I kept her company with a lobster bisque,

 next a lime sorbet,

and on to the main courses, a rack of lamb for Mr. Tony,

Booie was still eating her order of Thai food,

Diana chose the steak in red wine sauce,

 Australian lamb chops for myself,

we finished with desserts, Diana went with a cheese cake

which looked a work of art in itself,

as was my dessert,

which I attacked with gusto! what a great meal, we normally go to Cherry's on their Wednesday and Saturday International buffet evenings so it made a nice change to go à la carte, wonderful company and good food, Mr. Tony and Booie very kindly dropped us off home, after saying our farewells we were feet up for some television,

The Andromeda Strain is a 1971 American science-fiction film, based on the novel The Andromeda Strain published in 1969 by Michael Crichton, it tells of a probe that returns to earth carrying a deadly microscopic life form and then the race to stop it taking over the world, a little dated now but enjoyable to watch, a few more from The Chase, a Midsomer Murder and for us we were off to bed.

Looks like Cherries is still one of the best restaurants in Pattaya!

Dear Jil, it certainly is, I can not think of one that beats it on quality/price, I hope all is well with you and your family, I guess you can see from the blog we are fine, best regards, Stan and Diana.
