Diana was at work,
so as I had played with the JPEGs out of the camera I tried to play with the RAW or as Fujifilm call it RAF files, they are huge over 200mb each! here one of them is above, it is a plain simple ordinary photograph of a path in the park, a tad after sunup, and there is the problem, it took me quite some time to work out why a photograph I had played with would not print, at first I thought it was a problem with the printer not spooling, whatever that means, but it was more simple than that, domestic printers have a upper limit as to how big a file it can print, the converted RAF (RAW), files well exceeded that amount, the printer said, "No", the file size was 11648 X 8736 pixels, 200+ MB so a quick resize down to A2 size paper, I decided on 7910 X 5933 pixels, 58.5 MB, still a huge file,
and here it is, but the printer was happy with that and all was well, looking at the A3 size printed result, the detail was amazing, I almost wanted to keep it! looking at what I have written it all seems so simple, but it took me all day, the files are so huge it takes an age to play with them, well that is quick, it is the time my aged computer takes to make the changes that I make to the photograph at each stage that takes the time, after my evening meal it was feet up with,
King Arthur, the directors cut, far from the normal mould of knights around a round table, this version of the story is set in the North of England, where the future king who works for the Roman Empire, leads his few followers on a rescue mission, all very improbable, but there it is, after which Diana called so off to pick her up from work, arriving home it was feet up for,
Strange Journey: The Story of Rocky Horror, from the blurb,
"A London theatre play evolves into a ground-breaking cult phenomenon, featuring iconic songs and performances that celebrate individuality. The legacy lives on through midnight screenings and a devoted following that spans generations",
and the good news is that we have tickets for the stage show when it comes to Bromley, after which we were both off to bed.
