Diana Is Away For The Weekend,

it is the firms outing, this time to Lyme Regis,

so that left me to strip down the tree, it took an age! there were so many baubles on it, the boxes of them I took upstairs, but I left the tree, it was a tad heavy and unmanageable, I had taken it upstairs by myself before, but having had a really bad back with sciatica, I did not want to push my luck and strain my back again, a job for both of us when Diana returns next week, after I had taken the boxes upstairs,

it was time to play with a few photographs,

of waterlilies that I had taken,

on our last visit to Thailandon one of my trips to the plant market opposite the Bangkok Pattaya Hospital, which took me nicely up to my evening meal,

first a read and a sherry,

followed by a lamb hot pot, 'Cheers!', after which it was a couple of films for the evening firstly,

Robocop 3, what can I say, well not as good as the first two, but still entertaining enough, no prizes for guessing who 'wins!' I rounded off my evening with,

Watchmen, the movie surprised me with it's violence, the plot I lost, several times, as it happens I was not too sure I actually had it to lose, I will let a post on IMDB sum up the film:

"Reviewers say 'Watchmen' is acclaimed for its intricate characters, dark themes, and loyalty to the graphic novel. Performances, especially Jackie Earle Haley and Billy Crudup, are highlighted. Criticisms involve pacing, slow-motion effects, and plot deviations. Some find it lengthy and slow, others miss the source material's depth. Violence and graphic content elicit mixed reactions. Despite this, the film is celebrated for its visuals, direction, and its exploration of heroism and morality".

and with the end of that I was off to bed.
