After Breakfast,

it was back to the post office,

which was now open, yesterday was a bank holiday, but for some reason today I was told instead of five or six days for the registered letter to arrive in the UK, this time I was told two or three weeks, I know the flood waters in the Thailand are at an all time high, so I guess it is taking longer to deliver letters to the sorting office and then to the airport,

Soi Post Office looking towards the immigration center in Soi 5 Jomtien,

shortly after returning from the post office the skies opened up,

still it saved watering the plants, after the storm I popped into our local 7-11, to be greeted by many empty shelves, no bread, milk about to run out and no chocolate ice cream for Diana, but I have to say the floods out here are not a joke they are deadly serious, just have a look here at an article from the Daily Mail,

I spent some of the day playing with my stamps, when the boys arrived they very kindly brought over some extra pages for my albums as I was running out of pages in them, also of course we watched a few DVDs,

later Mike and Riza called over, Riza with her now straighten hair looked completely different,

we put on On Her Majesty's Secret Service, as afternoon viewing, George Lazenby steps into the role of James Bond and is sent on his first mission, he heads off to Switzerland to hunt down Ernst Stavro Blofeld one more time,

is it real or not? that question despite watching The Arthurian Legends - Camelot, still remains essentially unanswered, but the content of the DVD now gives rise to the theory that there may have been several Camelots,

Escape from the Planet of the Apes was the third in the series, Diana is really enjoying the series so far, in this one Cornelius and Zira flee back through time to 20th Century Los Angeles, where they face fear and persecution similar to what Taylor and Brent suffered in the future,

coming back down to earth, Ultimate Crimes - Stalkers Of The Innocent, the DVD was divided into three parts, Terrorising the Cities, Streets of Fear and Spree Killings, it was the last category that surprised me, far from being a couple that caught the American public's imagination as almost folk heroes, well they did for a time, it appears that Bonnie and Clyde were murderous gangsters who would kill anybody that crossed them, it was alleged with a reconstruction made at the time that even having shot two police officer's that walked towards them, as one lay wounded on the ground Bonnie walked over to him and shot him again killing him as he lay, but strangely it appears despite that by the time of her death, there were no outstanding warrants for Bonnie’s arrest alleging murder,

Diana liked the last Apes movie so much we had to watch another one, this time Conquest of the Planet of the Apes, Cornelius and Zira's son Caesar leads apes to revolution in this installment of the apes saga, dogs and cats have been wiped out by a plague and now apes are household pets that are treated like slaves, the slaves fight back,

New Tricks rounded the late evening/early morning off, with Dark Chocolate, Diana's dream, working in a chocolate factory where you can eat all the chocolate you like! but two unsolved rapes which occurred ten years earlier at the Pyramid Chocolate factory, run by unpopular Duncan Miller, are being reinvestigated, followed by Good Morning Lemmings, the team get involved when graffiti claiming 'I Killed Flak' appears around London, Flak being tag artist Danny Tyler, killed four years earlier whose works are now worth hundreds of thousands of pounds, meanwhile Brian becomes a Twitter addict, then for us off to bed.
