I Had A Busy Day,

firstly down to the shop,

and secondly the dry cleaners, back home the aquarium needed a bit of a clean, so a water change, I picked up the premixed seawater at the shop, a clean of the coral sand and inside glasses, clean and replace the carbon filter in the protein skimmer, the aquarium was now looking as a coral reef should,

 the soft coral,

along with the tube worm, stone anemones,

and pulse colonies,

all looking as good as ever,

the regal tang, (Paracanthurus hepatus), has definitely grown,

the common clown, (Amphiprion ocellaris), staying about the same,

as has the royal gramma,(Gramma loreto), the cleaner shrimp, (Lysmata amboinensis), doing a grand job,

and the boxing shrimp, (Stenopus hispidus), looking like the pugilist he is not,

in the afternoon Steve called round for a coffee, after he left I found that Quatermass and the Pit was showing on BBC, so I had to watch it, for some reason I still find it sort of scary, heaven knows why, it is in black and white the special effects not special at all, well with a budget of £17,578 (estimated) for all six episodes it was not heavy on the effects, but as one commentator wrote, 'It was estimated that more than 3/4 of Britain were tuned-in to the 6th and final episode - the rest we presume, didn't have television!' a great series although way out of date, and I know I will watch it all again in the future,

 in the evening a sherry,

followed by smoked salmon on a slice of pumpernickel,

'Cheers!' Diana arrived home so it was then feet up for a Game of Thrones,

I have to say a thank you to Monsoon who identified this flower we posted about a few days ago, it is now identified as a golden-beard penstemon (Penstemon barbatus), and a update on the lake in Beckenham Place Park, all 237 acres of it has been closed down without warning, which seems a bit excessive, surly the lake as it was before could have been cordoned off and let everyone enjoy the rest of the park? but there it is, and with that we were off to bed.
