This Will Be My Last Post For Some Time,

as later today I will be leaving for the airport,

flying to Frankfurt and then on to Windhoek in Namibia, where I will be joining Will Gray and a few other dedicated photographers for a 17 day photo workshop journey around the country, taking photographs on the way,

our trip might be a tad clearer to see above, it certainly looks to be exciting, and to say I am looking forward to the trip is a understatement, as you might expect in the Namibian desert there might be a few problems keeping the blog up to date, but I will try, I should also mention that after returning I will only be in the UK for 2 days, then I am heading out to Thailand and the Philippines until the second week of December, so posts are going to be a bit thin on the ground! back to Wednesday, whilst packing much to my horror I found that I was short of 1 months prescription for my medication, so hurried chats with the doctor's office revealed that last week I picked up one package, and I should have been given two, so after I dropped Diana off at work I called into town and parked up,

a walk past the florists opposite,

near The George Inn,

and into Boots the chemist, and sure enough there was the second package waiting for me, what a relief!

a walk back past what was The Three Tuns many years ago, now Zizzi, a restaurant of some description I guess, and home, where I continued trying to fit all of my clothes into a suitcase, then a coffee and feet up as I watched The Chase,

before my evening read and milk,

again no sherry this evening, 'Cheers!', as I am driving to go to the photography club,

and here I am at the club, as there were so few entries in the standard class, the photographs of Nigel, Paul and myself were entered in with the professionals, or fellow photographs many with a list of initials after their names, all to do with photography,

these were were two I entered 'Mr & Mrs Grebe and family', along with, 'The Frog Who Knew Too Much' as might be expected, Paul and myself were slaughtered Paul's prints receiving a 7 and a 8, out of 10, for myself both prints received 7.5 each, so we both tied at 15, Nigel fared slightly better with both prints receiving a 8 and a 8.5 respectively, but none of ours was held back for the second round, ah well that is what we three were up against, after the meeting I picked up Diana and headed for home, where it was feet up for a Bangers & Cash before we were both off to bed.
