It Is A Sad Day Today,

we are up early as it is time for Diana's family to return the the Philippines,

we have all had a great time, which just flew past, so here we are bags packed and ready to go,

a not very clear picture of a Singapore Airlines plane coming in to land, I was hoping to see the plane they were going to fly on, but no such luck,

Thai Airlines main building as you enter the airport,

 bags unloaded onto the trolley,

then we are in the queue,

 Dioshane and Sandio,

use the time to have their pictures taken,

 Dioshane,

and the family all smiles as we near the check-in counter,

then goodbyes over, Diana's family is on their way to immigration and on to the plane,

we called the mini bus driver and waited for him outside entrance number 4 as we normally do,

one thing that struck me was how quiet the place was,

normally the whole area is two or three deep with cars and mini buses unloading passengers, but to day hardly anyone seemed to be here,

we arrived home, so I took a couple of pictures of Diana's tomatoes,

if the number of flowers is anything to go by we should get a good crop, then into the truck, we wanted to call in to pick up the tax disc for it, but when we arrived at the testing station we were told it would not be issued for another 3 hours, so on to our next stop, Nissan, to see how much the new rear windscreen would cost, bad news, as my truck was 12 years old none were in stock in Bangkok, it would have to be specially ordered from Japan, that I was told would take a long, long time, but all was not lost, the service manager told me as did Alex about a screen repair/replacement service further along the road, the service manger after finding out that neither Diana or myself spoke Thai said, 'I take you', with that he jumped into our truck and drove us to Dr. Glass,

unfortunately it was closed but at least I now know where it is, so as Tuesday is a bank holiday I will call into pick up the tax disc and order a rear screen hopefully from Dr. Glass on Wednesday, when we arrived back home we had a call from Diana's Mum to say all was well and they had arrived safe and sound,

after our evening meal it was feet up for two from The Chase, if you have not seen it and you want to give the little grey cells a work out, this is the one for you, although the questions have a bias towards UK subjects, next two from Midsomer Murders, followed by two from Bones, with that we were off to bed.
