Our Last Day On Koh Chang,

so we decided to have a lazy day on the beach,

so into a taxi after breakfast,

but before the beach a quick bit of sight seeing, so up one of the many hills,

to one of the view points that overlook the coral islands,

 a beautiful view,

 naturally lots of picture taking,

and who could take a picture of probably the most photographed post box on the island?

there were lots of nice mature trees at the view point,

we then walked up to a second level,

where there were a few other huge trees,

 the Kai Bae view point,

and this is what you saw,

 next Diana has a pose,

 along with Dioshane,

I found these two trees interesting,

as they showed three phases of fruiting at the same time, firstly the flower pod unopened,

on the same tree the flowers,

and the seeds or nuts if you will,

a local group of what you would call in my day, 'the mods' arrived on their scooters,

plenty of parking at the view point,

we then made our way back down the hill,

 past the pink elephant,

to the beach at the Lay Lay Tong restaurant,

headphones on and I was in seventh heaven listening to Round the Horne and Beyond Our Ken

 whilst the family relaxed,

but it was soon time for the wrecking ball,

 Sandio loved it,

it was all too much for me,

one of the beach vendors walked past, but unlike some beaches they never bother you here,

we seemed to have made a friend,

but I think he may have remembered us from previous visits,

 not a soul in sight,

 and a beer, perfect,

Dioshane decided to have another go,

 on the wrecking ball swing,

then it was time for a beach massage,

 firstly Diana,

who had been looking forward to this for some time,

then it was Dioshane and Mums turn,

 Sandio preferred the swing,

 and a watermelon drink,

 then a bite to eat,

we were going to eat here and watch the sun go down,

so just a bit of finger food,

some spring rolls and prawn tempura,

 the sun set,

as a couple made their way along the shore,

 the sun nearly gone,

so we made our way to the table for our evening meal,

naturally a drink or two first,

and I had to take another picture of the last of the sunset,

 for our meal, fish cakes,

sweet and sour chicken, prawn fried rice,

 prawn curry,

 beef fried rice,

 with beef and chicken kebabs,

the food was first class,

what a lovely last night on Koh Chang,

meal finished we made a move back to our hotel, for dessert,

Diana and myself shared a sticky toffee pudding with ice cream,

whilst Dioshane and Sandio had an ice cream each, Mum decided to have an early night, then a double 10 game football tournament began, I lost count of who won, but by the end of 20 games we were all off to bed.
