Boxing Day,

bright and sunny,

but why is it called Boxing Day? have a look here for a few explanations, time for a pose,

one from myself in my new jumper,

and from Diana,

for today we have pork,

'Cheers!', with a pre-meal sherry,

in one of the beautiful cut crystal sherry glasses Diana bought,

on to the bubbly,

which did not give up,

with out a fight,

pork cooked, we allowed it to stand for some time,

which gave us time for our starters,

mixed seafoods,

and a tray of different smoked and poached salmon,

eyes down,

and tuck in,

and a glass of bubbly for Diana,

and a start on the crackers,

'Cheers!',

a selfie for Diana,

more crackers,

one that did not make a bang,

but all with jokes and novelties,

we were so full we did not have a dessert, but I caught a quick 40,

later we spent some of the evening listening to Peter Skillern, whose easy going music is a delight to listen to, as it happens many years ago when Perter was living in Brasted, Steve, Cup Cake, myself and many others from the Bat and Trap team were invited to Peter's home for a evening of entertainment, great fun and such a nice guy, I had bought a number of his CD's and put them on my telephones playlist,

then a treat National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, so funny in so many places, just a pity some of the scenes had been cut, but still great fun, we rounded the evening off with a couple of quiz shows, and the last half of Waterloo, and with the end of that and a nightcap we were off to bed.
