First Thing,

after posting the blog, exercises, breakfast, etc

it was my turn to take out the rubbish, normally 6 wheelie bins, but today as I started Matt walked by and gave me a hand, next our car had been parked under one of the pine trees, that drop sap, now that the scaffolding has been removed I am now in our usual parking spot, so time to clean the sap off of the car, the windscreen was easy, just carful use of a old fashioned razor blade and it was fine, but not so the paint work, I had bought a car cleaning product that removes new sap, but not the dried on patches that we had on the car, so a trip to a car body work shop at some time, Diana arrived home and after a coffee and a chat,

glad rags on,

and we were out,

into a nice bright sunny afternoon,

to Beckenham Junction station,

two stops later and off at Bromley South,

opposite the station, a great name for a fish & chip shop,

looking back to the station,

across the road and into St. Mark's Square,

past the sculpture,

and into the Vue cinema complex,

down, down, down, two large sets of escalators, the complex was deep underground,

time to stock up on the snacks for the film,

I was soon topped up!

a larger and a packet of popcorn, what could be better?

Diana had a look around the foyer, Haagen - Dazs ice cream,

my favourite,

we had pre-bought tickets on the Internet, but they can be purchased here,

we were a tad early, and what were we going to see?

all set, at this cinema as well as reclining seats there is a nice sized table in front of you for your snacks,

all relaxed,

time to start the movie, as it has only just been released I will not comment, only to say I nodded off for a few moments, but soon woke up when the action started!, suffice to say both Diana and myself thoroughly enjoyed the movie, as it happens I had never heard of Guillotine Haircuts until this October when I made a post about them, there was a scene where they were featured, we also kept our eyes out for some scenes featuring Greenwich, which was used for some of the filming,

the side entrance to Queen's House that we visited in November this year, Diana beat me and saw it first,

film over out into the night, past the decorations on the lamp posts,

as we walked up the High Street to the bus stop, I was snapping away,

the lower entrance to The Glades,

the Ferris wheel illuminated,

as was the helter-skelter,

the sausage stall now winding down,

this was asking for a pose,

so I did!

one more and that is it,

Diana popped into Lidl for some milk, so I looked at the flowers and plants,

these looked unusual,

grow your own pineapples! at £6.95 they did not seem that unreasonable for something so way out in the plant selection, we did not buy anything, the only way to check out was through the tills, the queue to do that as long as the store was inside! apparently the computer that controls all of the tap and go tills had a hissy fit and took the night off,

back outside and looking at the lights,

and there it was,

this years Christmas tree, and nice it looked too,

around the market square on the other side a few more decorations,

just past the upper entrance to The Glades,

I am not sure what it was, but it was fenced off, so you could not go near it,

a silver tree illuminated outside of Primark, we made our way to the bus stop and soon arrived home, we were very late for our evening meal, after which it was a couple from Midsomer Murder before we were off to bed.
