I Had A Busy But Unproductive Day,

looking through and moving photographs to various folders,

also I had to make a decision on what 2 photographs to enter into the next print competition at the club, I chose the one above taken many years ago in the 1980s at the Temple of the Dawn in Bangkok,

I then decided on a close up of two butterflies, taken at the London Butterfly Gardens at Hall Place, when we visited it in August 2024,

which brought me nicely up to my evening sherry and read,

followed by a starter of smoked mackerel,

and liver and Bacon, 'Cheers!',

and I finished off with some trifle before settling down for a couple of real treats, the first,

Wild Tales from the Village, a delightful documentary about the wildlife in and around the village of Puycelsi narrated by Tcheky Karyo, this tale reveals the parallel world of incredible tiny creatures that live side by side with the unsuspecting humans, great closeups of the creatures that live there and a storybook like telling, very enjoyable indeed,

I followed that with another documentary Michael Portillo's 200 year of the Railways, the subject is in the title, a full look at the development of the railways of the UK starting at slate mines in Wales to the modern day, again a very enjoyable documentary for myself to watch, I followed that with a episode of Marco Polo, and rounded off my evening with the last installment of the Count of Monte Cristo, before Diana arrived home, then feet up for a coffee and a chat, as we watched a Have I Got A Bit More News For You before we were both off to bed.
