in the afternoon there was a huge rainstorm,
as it finished,
we were blessed with a rainbow,
on to Friday, first thing drop Diana off to work just before 04.00 AM then a little later out into town, a walk past the snail mail box and on to a number 54 bus,
alighting at the florists in the High Street,
a nice show of hydraugers,
it must be Christmas! there they were, Christmas Cherry plants (Solanum capsicastrum), to save you looking there are 104 days to Christmas,
over the road and a look at The George pub in the High Street,
my first point of call, Boots the chemist for my bi-monthly prescription,
then into Sainsbury's to exchange our CO2 cylinder for our soda water machine, arriving home I decided to enter 2 digital images for a club competition in a couple of weeks time,
firstly this one I called 'Fishing' (in competitions you have to give every digital image or print a name),
and this one I called 'Technicolour Cranes' hopefully the judges will like my photographs, but as always the competition will be pretty fierce, then out to pick Diana up from her work,
which led us nicely to my evening read and sherry,
after which another rainbow, 2 in 2 consecutive days,
I zoomed in a tad,
although it does not show up so well in the photographs, the colours were much more intense than yesterdays,
for tonight, a few bits & pieces from our Vietnamese meal from yesterday, Vietnamese rolls, salted spicy spare ribs, and crispy aromatic duck, with the usual accompaniments, then feet up for a Deadliest Catch followed by a Midsomer Murder we had not watched for some time, after which as she was a tad tired Diana was off to bed, for myself a Have I Got A Bit More News For You, before I too gave into Mr. Sleep and was off to bed.
