Day 37,

and here we are at the airport again,

 this time terminal 4,

enjoying a moustache looking croissant for breakfast,

 and were off,

 to Santorini in Greece,

and this is where we are staying, Mill Houses

and what a welcome, arriving in our room,

champagne, chocolates and a charming note,

the only slight problem was that our suitcase looked like it had been dropped from quite a height, in one corner there was no fibreglass at all, it had disappeared on impact, the drop resulted in the case literally falling apart, so at some stage off to the new suitcase shop!

back to our room, it was perfect,

 a well equipped kitchen,

 a nice lounge,

 and our own balcony,

 overlooking the sea,

and this was our view, looking straight out to sea,

slightly to the right,

and fully to the right,

 and to the left,

 looking down the pool,

and to make us feel at home the cat network arranged that two of the local cats,

should call in and say hello,

we had a tiring day we left at 04.00 in the morning, flying to Paris, then getting a connecting to Athens, and another connecting flight to Santorini landing at just after 17.00 in the afternoon, so we just chilled out and watched the sun go down,

 with bubbly and chocolates,

 and what a lovely sunset,

after a shower and a change we were off,

up the 128 steps to the main pathway that leads into town, my knees could not believe it!

by now it was dark, but with no problems at all we found this restaurant,

the garden looked an absolute picture with flowering plants everywhere, the restaurant was called Knnos but in their web site, Pelican Kipos Garden Restaurant, in the town of Fira, and is just off of the main square going downhill, a little bit about the restaurant from their web site, ‘filled with palm trees, flowers and pergolas, we have created a space in which you can relax and enjoy a coffee, a drink, or a meal at any time of day. Just below the garden, within a 400 hundred year old cave, is our wine cellar holding more than 480 different wines selected from Santorini, Greece, and around the world’ well this one has got my vote!

 Diana chose a chicken kebab,

and there was lots of it,

 for myself fillets of pork,

one or two would have been plenty, the size of the plate belies the size the fillets were, so I was so totally full when I ate the three of them!

Diana was just so happy, well we both were, we enjoyed it so much the last time we were here,

we finished our desserts and made a move for our room,

and with that we were off to bed.
