Bad News For Some,

merriment for others,

 this will be the last post for one week, the reason? Diana has a week off, so early tomorrow morning we are driving to Lands End, and celebrating Valentine's Day and night there, following that we will be, storms permitting, flying to the Scilly Isles for a couple of days, before returning to Lands End, and then back to to Beckenham, where it will be catch-up with the blog when we return next week, back to today, Steve and myself caught the train to Bromley South and then to Sevenoaks, where Rainham Steve picked us both up and drove us to Sevenoaks hospital, where we visited Duncan, who we are glad to say is getting over his recent fall, after saying our goodbyes Steve dropped us back at the station, where we made the train connection to arrived back in Beckenham,

 we walked to town past the display of Valentines gifts in M & S, 

and arrived at the Deli Nene cafe just opposite the church, Steve was a bit peckish, so a burger for Steve, a couple of croissant and coffee for myself, we walked back to the entrance to the park, after saying our farewells I returned home and started on a few jobs, topping up the aquarium, charging the batteries for the cameras, watering the plants and hovering, by now it was time for my evening meal, then feet up for tonight's television until Diana called to meet her at the bus stop, we arrived back just before 01.00AM it was a long shift for Diana, so early tomorrow morning we are off, but if you have some time to enjoy a coffee, have a look at some of our earlier post, on the left hand side of the opening page, if you scroll down there is a list of years starting with 2008, just click on a year, then click in a month, and finally click on a post to see what we were doing at that time or things that we found interesting, amusing or just plain weird! we hope that in a weeks time you will call back to follow our trip to the Scilly Isles, with that we were off to bed.
