with the looks of the 1953 Maserati A6GCS Frua Spider, Ferrari 250 GT California
and a AC Cobra all rolled into one,

credits: Ares, a company called Lalique and yes that’s the French luxury glassmaker, has teamed up Italian
coachbuilder Ares Modena to create a retro-style roadster, the Wami Lalique Spyder,
the
cars will be a limited edition of just 13 handcrafted cars made in the
Wingen-sur-Moder Lalique factory in Alsace,
the project came about after a meeting of minds between
Lalique’s chairman and CEO, Silvio Denz, and Ares’s chairman, Waleed
al-Ghafari, and their shared love of cars from the 1950s and 60s,
the car is based on a BMW 3-litre straight-six generating
the same 228bhp and 221lb ft of torque as the Z4 3.0i from two decades ago.
This is connected to a six-speed automatic gearbox – presumably the ZF torque
converter unit used in the base car, so the dashboard and interior, and steering
wheel will be familiar to Z4 owners, would I like one? you bet! now where do I find the €445,000 (starting price) to buy one? at todays rate £379,844.63 or $479,487.06, for the article have a look here.
