I Have Often Heard,

of the Golden Ratio,

and mentioned it on our blog before, but I had never heard of the Golden Angle, until now,

artist John Edmark's kinetic objects function as a medium to express a variety of mathematical formulas and concepts, in this case the magic angle of 137.5° the spiral-like sculptures look so strange and I have to wonder how some of them work,

he refers to them as “instruments that amplify our awareness of the sometimes tenuous relationship between facts and perception.”

and for a fuller description of his work and teaching, have a look at the video, fascinating.
