after breakfast the weather looked good,
so off along the walkway,
that leads to the beach,
as usual Dongtan Beach Road,
was deserted, as it is closed to traffic during the day time,
we made our way on to the sand, looking towards Pattaya,
and Sattahip,
there must have been a big storm, all of the buoys that had marked out the safe area to swim had now been washed ashore,
we continued our walk,
so many places to chose from,
but we decided on our usual spot, a soda for myself,
a fresh coconut for Diana,
well I just had to have a beer later,
it was very windy, so I was surprised that only one surf boarder was out,
but unlike myself when I tried the sport he was good at it,
I zoomed back,
and there he is,
in the middle of the picture,
two of the beach sellers made their way past us again,
as did the windsurfer,
in the late afternoon a couple of fresh doughnuts, we then made a move for home and later after our evening meal,
it was feet up for the evenings film, Hostiles, a violent start then a slow build up as a the story follows a U.S. Cavalry officer who must escort a Cheyenne war
chief and his family back to their home in Montana in
1892, this 2017 American Western film written and directed by Scott Cooper, based on a story by Donald E. Stewart, mention must be made about the great use of scenery, almost harking back to the Westerns made by John Ford, we finished the evening with a few more from Reggie, now deceased for the second time and with that we were off to bed.
