I Was Up And Downstairs,

more than a few times today,

Diana had started taking off the Christmas decorations from the tree, we had been putting them on a few at a time as we bought them, but it was only when taking them off that we found out how any there were, box after box, and that there are still lots left to take upstairs today, all of that was after I made yesterday's post which took a bit of time, but it was so nice looking at the photographs we took, also on today's agenda was to nail down a price for the cars insurance, it has nearly been a year since we bought it, the time has just flown past, so on the Internet and more than a few telephone calls later, and the good news is that as we are already with AVIVA for some of their other products, plus I now will hopefully have at the time of renewal a 1 year no claims bonus, the price for renewal has gone down by a staggering £600.00! I wish I had known AVIVA did car insurance last year! but there it is, buyer beware,

after Diana returned home in the evening from work and our evening meal, it was feet up for a television film and a series, firstly Black Death, grim, was the word that sprang to mind, but then the subject is the title, set in the 1300s, the diseases is calculated to have killed 50 million people in the 14th century, or 60 percent of Europe’s entire population, so it was never going to b a barrel of laughs, but a great storyline, costumes, sets and actors, quite an underrated movie I would have said,

we followed that with the first episode of The Witcher, which almost could have been set in the same timescale, but of course was set in a fantasy world, the first one was quite enjoyable as the persona of the characters were set, again costumes and sets first class, we shall see what tomorrows episode will bring, and with that we were off to bed.
