started with a mix of prawns and avocado,
and nice it was too,

for our main course, chicken, with gravy for Diana,
and for myself,
without gravy,
finally dessert,
a strawberry trifle, we spent the afternoon channel swapping between Stop, Police, Action and a few quiz shows, in the evening after a snack it was feet up for the latest from Have I Got News For You, so funny as guests lampooned just about anybody in the public eye,
we rounded the evening off with Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Silk Stocking, which we both enjoyed and with the end of that we were off to bed.
