We Watched A Few Films

in the afternoon, but in the evening we were out,

 so glad rags on,

and we were off walking to Thappraya Road at the front of the condominium complex, and then downhill towards the Jomtien complex,

but I had to stop and take a picture of this jeep, it was painted in the most bright fluorescent lime green that I have ever seen a car painted in,

I had seen it before in bright sunshine but too far away to photograph, I have to say it was a bit dull and overcast this evening, so it does not really look that bright, but in normal sunlight it really stands out in the crowd!

we made our way past a huge Chinese restaurant,

 and past the first,

and second roads into the Jomtien complex,

until we arrived here, the Pig and Whistle, where we had arranged to meet up with Barry for our evening meal,

for starters Barry chose a soup, for Diana spring rolls,

and for myself onion rings, the portion was huge, so we all shared them,

for our main courses, a Thai dish for Diana,

gammon ham for Barry,

liver and bacon for myself, which was delicious, I really like liver and bacon, but occasionally the liver is full of chewie bits, but this was just right,

 'Cheers!',

we all declined desserts, most of the UK meals here are 250 baht, and there are daily specials, so if you like English food this is the place to try,

arriving home it was feet up for The Caine Mutiny, a couple from Sherlock Holmes and we were off to bed.
