I Had A Few More Things To Print Off,

for Diana's visa,

also I was up and down stairs as a series of deliveries arrived, not only for ourselves but other residents, also Len called by, we have a dripping tap in the bathroom, and as these things only get worse, he paid a visit, he had already bought the insides, but alas he needed a short flat headed screwdriver which he did not have, so he will call back tomorrow, in the evening as Diana is not working we booked a table at our favourite Indian restaurant, the Kathmandu Masala

poppadoms and drinks ordered, 'Cheers!',

then a surprise for Diana, I mentioned a couple of days ago the florist was open opposite the shop, well I snuck in there and ordered a bouquet of flowers to be delivered to the restaurant for our wedding anniversary,

Diana's starter arrived, a mixed kebab,

for myself a prawn puri,

we also ordered a chicken, a lamb and a prawn dish, with onion bhajees, peas and mushroom rice, and a peshwari nan,

we followed that with a coffee for Diana,

and a Jamaican coffee for myself,

Diana loved the flowers, the restaurant bill came to £110.22 including service charge,

what a excellent meal,

a pose,

or two,

and I just had too to!

in the bus,

a closer look at the flowers,

arriving home,

as it was special occasion I opened up the bottle of rum Steve and Kai bought for me for Christmas, it was a bottle of Jack Ratt Lugger Spiced Rum, an amazing 40% proof, back in the day spirts were smuggled into the UK to avoid paying duty on them, this rum was inspired by the notorious Jack Rattenbury, who used to smuggle contraband into Lyme Bay in the 18th Century using fishing boats called ‘Luggers”, he actually wrote with help, a book of his exploits in the 1800s, it is here if you wish to read about his amazing life, but be warned it is a long read, so grab a coffee, or two,

carefully does it,

Diana made a short video of my first taste, and nice it was! we watched a Endeavour after which we were off to bed.
