Back To Costco,

just our luck,

one of the boxes of wine when laid down in Steve's car leaked, just a small speck of wine, but it was still a leak, the internal bladder must had been punctured, so Steve very kindly drove back there, where with no problems at all it was changed, but we did notice there were a few other boxes that showed signs of a leak, we guessed that these were at the bottom of a pallet when it may have been dropped rather heavy and burst the bladders, anyway we mentioned it to one of the staff who exchanged our leaky one, so I guess the faulty ones will be removed from sale, after saying our goodbyes,

it was time for our Sunday lunch,

duck stuffed and wrapped with bacon, that we had bought from the Borough Market, with all of the trimmings, it was nice enough, but somehow lacked flavour, but there it is, at least we tried it,

for dessert cream, plus ice cream and pears for dessert, delicious! we listen to music for most of the early evening,

then Diana mentioned she would like to watch the African Queen

the bases for the book that was then made into the film was the true life exploits of Captain Geoffrey Basil Spicer-Simson DSO, RNfor a fuller account of the events on Lake Tanganyika have a look here, and if you are really interested an account with a map and details of what can only be described as an almost impossible overland journey for two boats here,

of course it did not all go well, here is Captain Geoffrey Basil Spicer-Simson DSO, RN. standing on the foredeck of HMS Mimi, as she was undergoing initial sea trials in the Thames River, Spicer-Simpson had a reputation for bad things happening to him, when the crew test-fired the gun on HMS Mimi, it came off its mountings and plunged into the river, sounds like with my luck the sort of thing that would happen to me! but what a tale of daring do, we rounded the evening off with a couple from Game of Thrones, and what a delight it was to watch again, with that we were off to bed.
