In The Afternoon,

Diana took a walk to the shops,

 we were nearly out of milk, so I popped upstairs to play with a photograph, this one above of the Mansion House in Beckenham Place Park, above as it comes out of the camera, a Sony Alpha 7 11,

firstly I gave it a slight HDR effect,

followed by a black and white look,

and a sort of old fashion type of photograph look, 

 next I played with the sky,

and colours,

 going back to black and white,

and again an old fashioned look,

 I decided on a more dramatic sky,

 then added just a touch more colour,

 next taking the color away,

  and ended up with another old fashioned photograph look, in no time at all Diana returned, so downstairs I went,

 for our afternoon coffee and cake, we watched a couple of quiz shows,

 then time for our evening meal, starting with a sherry,

 and our first course of smoked mackerel on crusty sourdough bread, topped with sliced gherkins,

 one of the fox's was waiting,

 for his evening snack,

 for us chilli con carne,

 'Cheers!', 

 and what a treat for dessert,

 custard choux buns, which a was choux bun filled with Madagascan vanilla custard topped with a chocolate fondant, delicious! 

 the plants in the aquarium were growing a little too long,

 so a haircut was needed, 

meanwhile I rounded off the meal with a rum, after three games of cribbage we listened to music for pretty much the rest of the evening, then after one late New Tricks we were off to bed.
