As For So Many Of Us,

another quiet day,

 afternoon tea and cake,

peanuts for the foxes, before our evening meal a couple of quiz shows,

then as 8.00 in the evening approached, outside on to the road,

as other residents of the park came outside,

to start the show of appreciation for all NHS and care workers, also so many others that we barely think about, our local postman for instance, plus the numerous people that daily deliver all of the foodstuffs to the stores that we so depend upon, the workers that keep the nation moving on trains, buses and the tube, so many unsung heros that soldier on in the worldwide crisis, our thanks to all of them,

in the evening a real treat, Red Dwarf: The Promised Land, I have been a great fan of this series since I first watched all of those years ago back in 1987, and now the TV film, strangely enough I never took to Dr. Who, but this is in a far superior league, having said that I guess fans of Dr. Who might not take to Red Dwarf, but for myself it was excellent!

especially seeing the original ships computer Holly, played by Norman Lovett, it was great fun indeed, we rounded the evening off with one from New Tricks, then for us we were off to bed.
