but I had never realised it was so popular in China, the rules are quite simple, each team tries to swing the bridge from one side to the
other to put the other team off balance until one side remains standing, usually 6 members to each team, apparently it is a lot more difficult that it looks!

game allegedly originated at Shuoping Flower Field, a tourist spot in Ruzhou
City, Henan Province, and has gained national attention from there, it even featured
on a reality show on Hunan Television, with millions tuning in, but here is the thing, whilst extremely popular in China it has failed to be taken up anywhere else, now there's an idea for a game show for any television company out there, I can see it now, the International Swinging Bridge Contest!
