They Say That Who Ever Invented The Paperclip,

had something different on his mind when he made it,


 but for this sculptor using wire to make his work,

he was totally focused,

the pieces are so intricately made as you can see from this slow-mo video of them folding and then unfolding,

 and as if that was not difficult enough, 

 this human torso,

that transforms into a wolf like creature is nothing short of amazing,


just a small detail from one of the pieces showing how complex the wires are,

and here is the transformation, these sculptures are by artist Claude-Olivier Guay working only with a pair of pliers, Guay folds, bends, and twists an inner framework of hidden creatures that dramatically transform with a bit of manual manipulation, above is his 2015 piece titled LaTanière the bust of a woman’s figure turns completely into an angry wolf, Guay studied visual arts at the Université du Québec à Montréal and is currently based in Québec City, You can see several more works on his website, amazing.
