Sunday,

and for us out for lunch,

so glad rags on,

and off through the park,

and a walk to Beckenham,

to My Place, where Diana ordered a cocktail, with alcohol! that was a surprise,

the cocktail Diana ordered was called Rouge, the description being, Citron vodka, strawberry and passion fruit puree, lime juice and sugar, shaken and finely strained into a sugar rimmed martini glass with a strawberry garnish, Diana said it tasted nice,

a red for myself,

'Cheers!',

from both of us as our starters arrived,

avocado prawn for Diana, it looked and was large, it was impossible to have put more prawns on the avocado,

for myself,

a bowl of moules mariner,

the alcohol was starting to kick in!

for our main course,

baked sea bass for Diana,

belly of pork for myself,

another 'Cheers!', from myself,

and one from Diana,

we had another long break, if you have not been here this the restaurants interior, nicely decorated and comfortable,

on to desserts, cake of the day for Diana,

and a latte coffee,

for myself a vintage port, I was so full I could not manage a dessert,

back through the autumn leaves,

past the church,

and into the park,

passing Foxgrove Lodge,

at home a selfie, then feet up for two more from the sci-fi box,

the first, Blood Tide, set in Greece, basically a monster is unleashed when a archaeologist digs it up, luckily there are sufficient virgins to keep its appetite stated,

we followed that with The Brain Machine, and group of scientists try to perfect a machine that can read minds, the 'action' takes place in one room, a bit dreary but it whiled away the rest of the afternoon,

in the evening we had a snack of some hazelnuts that we had bought on the way home from Marks & Spencer, less than half were edible, which was a shame, to round off our evening, a horror film, I am not really into horror films, but Diana loves them, this one titled Apostle, scary dairy indeed! set in 1905 it follows the efforts of a brother to release his sister from a religious cult on a island, I will not spoil it by saying if he succeeded, and with the end of that we were off to bed.
