I Guess It Was Never Going To End Amicably,

the tree from one neighbour over hanging the others driveway,

photographs Lee McLean/SWNS, the story happened in Waterthorpe, a suburb of Sheffield, England, the tree located on the edge of Bharat Mistry’s property, extended its evergreen crown on the driveway of Irene and Graham Lee, which meant that nesting birds made a mess of the driveway of Irene and Graham, a comprises was tried but without success, the Lees took matters into their own hands and hired an arborist to cut the tree in half and remove its branches from their property,

it has been three years since the half-cut tree of Waterhope drew attention to the Sheffield suburb, but it has proven more than a temporary attraction, many days people stop by to take photos and even post the occasional review on Google,

“I just think it’s funny. I think it’s been trimmed back again because you’d have thought it would have grown back by now,” one Waterhope woman told The Independent, “It looks awful. They’re going to be at one another’s throats now, but it’s done, you can’t undo it. We’ve got a war on our hands with them two,” another neighbour said,

according to recent news reports, the two neighbours are still not talking to each other, and Mr. Bharat claims that he is still distraught about how his neighbours chose to deal with the 25-year-old fir tree, “We pleaded and pleaded with them not to do it, but their mind was made up,” he said. “That tree was coming down. I believe he has the right to cut down anything that is overhanging onto his property. But you have to ask, why after 25 years would you do that?” hopefully if you have any disputes with your neighbour it will be resolved more amicably!
