Diana Was Not Starting Work Until The Evening,

so we had a late breakfast together,

a bacon sandwich and a mug of tea for myself,

scrambled eggs, bacon and tomatoes for Diana,

we had a lazy day,

in the afternoon we watched Dark Knight, which we both enjoyed, after which it was time for Diana to go to work,

for myself it was a read and a sherry,

before Diana left she made me a chicken curry, which was delicious,

'Cheers!',

I spent some of the evening reading,

and finished The Cobra's Heart by Ryszard Kapuscinski, which was a nice easy read,

so for my next evenings read I will be starting on Borneo, Celebes, Aru by , from the review,

'racked with fever, virtually broke and earning a precarious living through sending back to London the plumes of beautiful birds, Wallace (1823-1913) ultimately became one of the most heroic and admirable of all scientist-explorers. Whether living with Hill Dyaks or hunting Orang-Utans or sailing on a junk to the unbelievably remote Aru islands, Wallace opens our eyes to a now long vanished world',

it promises to be an enjoyable read, after Diana arrived home it was feet up for a coffee before we were off to bed.
