it was a lot more sunny with blue skies,
as we made our way from home towards the park entrance to the main road,
we caught the 227 to Bromley High Street, and this is where we were going, Gerry At Home, in the High Street, our flat has high ceilings, and as we found out last week, suppliers of ready made curtains stop the drop at 2.5 meters, but we needed a nearly 3 meter drop,
so made to measure it was then, I had no idea they were so expensive, but there it is, delivery in 2 weeks or so,
we made our way back to the bus stop looking at some of the stalls and shops on the way,
although not cold it was decidedly chilly when the wind blew, so this hat stand should be doing a good trade, speaking of which I should have mentioned Gerry's was incredibly busy,
there were so many kids pulling Mums and Dads into this shop, I nearly went in myself for some of my school time favourites!
the fresh fish stall was packing up,
but we managed to buy a pot of whelks for a afternoon snack,
delicious!
after a few quiz shows it was time for our evening meal,
a Indian curry,
followed by Have I Got a Bit More News For You, which we both enjoyed, Diana was amazed at how the panel and chairwoman could make fun of important people, especially those in government, but as I explained here in the UK we have freedom of speech, something sadly lacking in many other countries,
we rounded the evening off with two from one of our favourites series, New Tricks, both of which we had not seen before, great fun, as the midnight hour approached we were off to bed.
