I Made My Way,

out of the park,

and to the doctors surgery, blood samples taken I then gave Diana a telephone call,

and we meet at the station,

for the train to Victoria, then tube to Paddington,

 and on to Swindon,

yesterday I mentioned that after the doctors we were going shopping,

and this is where we are shopping, the Jaguar showroom at Grange Garage,

where after a cup of coffee the business began,

and here they were, our keys, we had paid a deposit and had come to make the final payment and take delivery,

naturally whilst waiting for the final PDC (pre delivery checks) to be completed Diana had a look round the showroom and pronounced, 'I want this one!' if only she had said sooner before we paid a deposit!

 what a great feeling,

I mentioned to Diana the silver Jaguars would make a great pair of earrings!

and here it is, finished in BRG, (British racing green) metallic, the car is the XF 180 sport, it may seem a strange choice of colour, but I had always thought of different cars having particular colours, Porsche and Ferrari always red, Bentley dark blue, Bugatti light blue, Rolls Royce, Mclaren and Mercedes silver,

and for me, BRG for Jaguars, the sales assistant Myles Hill, took great care of us, so many new things to learn,

 into the petrol station,

a quick look around the controls,

and we were off, it seemed strange having an electric handbrake, and not having to turn on lights and windscreen wipers, the car should suit us well, 68 MPG, annual road tax just £30 a year, a full service £350, and the good news, the car needs a service only every 2 years, so I will book one for February in 2021!

happy motoring,

we arrived home so happy, next it was feet up for our evening meal, the good news was that the remote had arrived, and it worked perfectly, so a few quiz shows, then a couple from Murdoch Mysteries, a New Tricks and a couple from the Poirot box and we were off to bed.
