First Thing I Was Off,

to see the doctor,

all was well, I was booked in next week to see the nurse for a blood sample to be taken and another appointment at the end of the month to see the doctor when the results will be back, next stop to pick up my medication at Boots, the doctor emailed my prescription through to them, so it was ready to pickup, no charge as I am over 60 years old,

I called Diana at home and we meet at the tram station to go to the Purley Way and buy a wardrobe,

we first looked in at Furniture Village, the IKEA towers in the distance, we found one that was just right, but we also decided to look into IKEA,

just in case there was one better, but there was nothing there we liked, but what we did want was to buy 6 curtains 3 X 1 meters, the ones that we had when we moved in did not look nice, but disaster, IKEA recently stopped making them 3 meter tall and now only makes them 2.5 meter, they will be too short, so no sale there then, just our luck!

so out again and back home, we rather foolishly did not take an accurate measurement, we knew a 180cm wardrobe would fit, but there had to be 4 or more cm each side which we had not taken into account for the wardrobe to be built,

all was well so back I went on the tram and ordered the wardrobe with Lau of Furniture Village, delivery in 12 to 13 weeks,

I caught the tram home for the second time today,

time for our evening meal,

tonight avocado with sliced red peppers, prawns and Diana's mayonnaise,

and yes the no alcohol month of February is still with me,

'Cheers!', with a mug of tea,

for tonight steak, with brussell sprouts, saute potatoes with bacon and onions, plus a yellow pepper, spinach and cucumber salad,

to round of our evening meal, toffee cake topped with ice cream with strawberries, then it was feet up for some music, tonight we listened to some goldie oldies and nice they were too, this will be the only post today as soon as I have finished typing this it will be breakfast and we will, along with Steve and Kai, be off to Kew, all being well there will be lots of photographs tomorrow of the orchids at Kew we are planning to see, and with that last night we we off to bed.
