I Popped Out In The Morning,

I had heard that there was a boot fair in town,

so off on a bright sunny day,

to Azalla Hall, in Croydon Road, the opening time was 12.00 noon, I arrived shortly after and the hall was packed, with customers, but unfortunately no items of interest for us,

so back home, it was certainly chilly, but not a cloud in sight with nice clear blue skies,

for Sunday lunch, we had a starter of avocado and prawns,

 and a mug if tea,

for our main course Diana had cooked a smoked ham, Diana's with gravy,

mine without,

'Cheers!' with a mug of tea,

for dessert toffee pie, strawberry and ice cream,

in the afternoon we listened to music, but in the evening Diana was out, she popped round to see Kai and a couple of her friends, Steve went out for a run to give the girls the flat to themselves, where a cooking fest took place, for myself it was feet up for some television,

first a mini series Age of Tanks, so much footage that I had never seen, I watched the first episode,

next World War II in Colour, an excellent first episode, followed by the first episode of a Netflix series of the First World War, unfortunately the link is down, but the first episode detailing how the inactivity of the West allowed events in the East to build up to a crescendo and show how powerless the League of Nations truly was, a fact not missed by Hitler and others,

then the start of a new series Frontier, it was remarkably good, in fact I watched the first three episodes back to back, then Diana arrive home and we watched the fourth with me filling details of the characters and story as the episode played, very enjoyable indeed, next a couple from the Poirot box, we were then off to bed.
