We Were Up Early,

and out into the mist in the park,

which the sun had yet to burn off,

 Diana thought it was great,

 mist, Ta-Dah!

we made our way to Beckenham Junction for the train to Crystal Place, then a change for the long train ride to Dalston,

there was plenty to look at, but nothing took our fancy,

on the way back we stopped at the Dalton open air market,

for some strawberries, we are eating in on Sunday, so we will have a few of these for desert,

we continued through the market then made our way home for tea and biscuits, a few quiz shows,

and the Saturday afternoon film, The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp, a little old but we both enjoyed it,

in the evening we were out for our Saturday night meal, to the Kathmandu Masala, in Croydon Road, Beckenham,

 'Cheers!' with soda,

I was happy really, just a few more days then my self imposed alcohol free diet will be over,

for our starters Diana chose a mixed kebab which came with a salad,

for myself a King prawn puri,

 all of which was delicious,

on to our mains which included this sizzling dish of lamb,

as well as chicken tikka masala, chicken dopiaza, aloo gobi, with peas and mushroom pilau rice,

what a feast! at the end of the meal we were full to bursting, the meal came to £56.00,

we were home in time for Have I Got Old News For You, which we both enjoyed, which we followed with a couple from Midsomer Murders, then we were off to bed.
